![]() Hopefully by now you will have survived the festive season, the snow and ice and are looking forward to longer days and spring flowers. My exploration of London continues icourtesy of castings and jobs. Already this month I've been to Oxford Street, Stockley Park, Hackney, Chiswick, Farringdon, Shepherd's Bush and Clapham. The round of castings has proved fruitful, unexpectedly so, may this continue! The photo above is me being pampered by the lovely Lisa Potter-Dixon, head make-up artist for Benefit Cosmetics. A QVC promo before Christmas lead to a live show last week, The down side, being subjected to the 'before' shot, a face totally free of make up in glorious technicolour close-up is hardly flattering at my time of life! However the end results, after Lisa worked her magic, were amazing. Away from posing, I was delighted to have been selected to narrate two films. The first, Jessica Rinland's short film 'Adeline for Leaves' (@jessicarinland https://www.facebook.com/AdelineForLeaves) about a botanical child prodigy. The second, a emotive documentary focusing on formerly abducted child soldiers in Uganda, 'Forgive Me Mother', for CODOC Films (http://www.codoc.org/ https://www.facebook.com/codoc.org) directed by Heidi Lindvall and Guy Gunaratne. Two weeks away in the sun beckon from next week. I hope to 'see' you, my friends and supporters, back here, towards the end of February.
